Events Leader (Moths in Lancashire)

Our Volunteer Events Leader help connect people to their local wildlife, encouraging people to take action for butterflies and moths.

At Butterfly Conservation, we want to create a world where butterflies and moths are enjoyed by everyone, forever. We need volunteers to help lead events so we can get even more people involved in our work. You will lead moth-trapping events for the public in this role, you can choose how and when you volunteer.

You will be joining the committee of the Lancashire Branch and volunteering with a wide range of people, so that must appeal to you. This role would also suit you if you’re interested in helping us to connect people to nature. We want to get as many people involved in our national campaigns as possible – whether it’s the Big Butterfly Count or by creating Wild Spaces.
