Events Volunteer (Hertfordshire)

Opportunity image

Our Events Volunteers help to connect people to their local wildlife, encouraging people to take action for butterflies and moths.

At Butterfly Conservation, we want to create a world where butterflies and moths are enjoyed by everyone, forever. We need volunteers to help run events so we can get even more people involved in our work. Taking the Herts & Middlesex Branch publicity stall to events is a great way to share information and gain support for Butterfly Conservation, usually in the Spring and Summer. Currently three or four events are attended each year, but with extra volunteers we could do more.

You will be volunteering with a wide range of people, so that must appeal to you. This role would also suit you if you’re interested in helping us to connect people to nature. We want to get as many people involved in our national campaigns as possible – whether it’s the Big Butterfly Count or by creating Wild Spaces.
