We are looking for volunteers to help us engage with the public at the Festival of Nature, which will take place in Bristol on Saturday 1st June and Sunday 2nd June, between 10am and 6pm. You will be supported by Butterfly Conservation staff on the day, and will have an online briefing before the weekend. You can attend all, or some of the weekend, whatever works for you.

We need help to run our stall, which will involve: talking to people about our work, giving out resources, helping to run a planting activity and getting people to register their Wild Spaces.

Our Events Volunteers help to connect people to their local wildlife, encouraging people to take action for butterflies and moths.

At Butterfly Conservation, we want to create a world where butterflies and moths are enjoyed by everyone, forever. We need volunteers to help run events so we can get even more people involved in our work. You might help at public events, learn how to moth trap or help with guided walks. You can choose how and when you volunteer.

You will be volunteering with a wide range of people, so that must appeal to you. This role would also suit you if you’re interested in helping us to connect people to nature. We want to get as many people involved in our national campaigns as possible – whether it’s the Big Butterfly Count or by creating Wild Spaces.
